Google Pixel 2 XL: A brilliant phone, camera stopped working after 12500 shots.

In about 16 months of use I had shot about 12500 shots on my Google Pixel 2 XL phone. I had purchased the phone primarily for the camera and the Google services integration. Just before the phone’s front-facing camera died, I noticed that it was occasionally shooting a series of blurred shots in perfect daylight. And occasionally the camera app would fail to start. Going over the standard safe mode restart, app reinstall, several reboots and finally a complete phone reset with Google FI support, Google FI sent me a replacement refurbished phone (looks new). Hopefully I get another 12500 shots out of this one and then it will be time to get the next Google Pixel phone. Overall the phone is awesome, the quick double click on the power button on the side gives me a fast camera launch and this is probably why I take so many pictures.
