An observation one can make today is that a growing number of DJs now seem to use tracks from the early 90s especially the ones that were associated with classic dance and trance sounds and from groups who built a reputation for exceptional dance tracks. Some of this stuff still sounds really good – with a few slight modificatons to soften up the edges.
