Some it may be useful and some may not, but they are are tested for no adware or spyware and there is a rating system in place for users. So you have nothing to lose. While you are not going to see huge titles for free, you can certainly score a few good software applications for niche use. There is also a free game section where you get a free game of the day. The only requirements for all downloads is that you have to install and activate the software within the give-away period.
