In 2007, while fiddling with Google.com, I was curious to see what they thought of competition? A search for ‘www.hotmail.com’ produced an ancient description of the email service when 2MB used to be the mailbox size. Was this just a matter of old pages showing up on Google.com or a deliberate strategy to discourage users from signing up for Hotmail.com? Take a look at the screen shot. While the information seems to have been rectified, you could see the error for a few months in 2007 on Google.com.
